Why is it called POV?
POV = point of view. It's a playful way to hear what your people really think, through Q&A games with your real-life circle.
Is it really anonymous?
Your name and social handles are never shown to the person you message. To keep POV safe we store basic technical info with each message, like device type and approximate location, and POV Pro members can see some of it as hints. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
Who can use POV?
You need to be 13 or older to use POV.
Where can I get it?
POV is free on the App Store for iPhone.
How do I see my messages?
Open the app and go to your inbox. New POVs land there as they arrive, and you'll get a notification if you've turned them on.
I lost my messages — help!
If you never linked an account (for example with Google sign-in) and then deleted the app, your messages can't be recovered. Link an account in the app to keep them safe.
What do I get with POV Pro?
Hints on every message, all 18 question games, when and from which app your link was opened, and message filters. Pro is weekly or monthly, and you can also unlock hints for a single message without subscribing. Hints are clues, never the sender's name.
Can I cancel POV Pro?
Anytime, in your App Store subscription settings. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid the next charge.
Someone's being mean. What do I do?
Tap the report icon on any message to delete it, block the sender, or tell our team. We also automatically filter threats, sexual content and other harmful messages before they reach you.
